Lawrence Lin

About Me

I was born and raised in Taiwan and studied production management in San Francisco at the Academy of Art University.  While at university, I got the experience of producing actual films for animation & visual effects, which hones me to a professional production manager.

In my life, I am always striving to challenge myself and I find that producing gives me this opportunity and that is so satisfying. In all things, I look for ways to improve things in my life, my projects, and with my team. This instills me with energy and strength as I am always seeking greatness in all I do.

Producing has become a passion for me as it is the balance between creativity and business which lights me up. I love the social aspect of animation and VFX production to engage people through communication. For me, this is the most beautiful and interesting thing that happens in the daily production environment. Another aspect that I enjoy is problem-solving and troubleshooting with the team as I love finding solutions, implementing efficiencies, and considering different perspectives. Being part of the production team is one of the reasons I love production.
